Buyer Beware! I don’t normally write reviews. In fact, this is my first ever. As a senior widow, I felt like I need to create awareness for other people, especially like me. I was given a repair estimate for approximately $500. Without getting too technical, the lever that puts the golf cart in gear was not working. By the time it was all said and done I paid over $2000. I used the cart about 10 ten times before it threw sparks and the smell of burnt wires occurred. From there the cart only operated in reverse. Not useful, and a fire hazard in my garage! The bottom line is this…The repairs took too long, were over budget and there was zero warranty of work. I don’t recommend this business.
I bought a lifted Easygo a month ago-very happy about the look, quality and performance. The Owner was very helpful and went out his way to offer the service. He is also the expert in servicing and repairing, especially on the electronic parts. Strongly recommend the store located at Keystone Heights, FL.
Daniel and Sammy at Double D Carts are absolute treasures! My ‘06 Bonneville had a flat rear tire on Sunday morning as I left the FIRM race track; having camped there for a few days for the Southeastern Adventure Vehicle Expo. Being on a Sunday, everything was closed so far as getting a repair went. I spotted a local tire store and parked the bike around back hoping they could direct me when they opened Monday morning. Well, they did not do motorcycle work, but they referred me to Daniel and Sammy. Daniel came and picked up the bike arriving right at the agreed-upon time. No drama no issues, and took it to his shop, diagnosed the problem, found a replacement inner tube and installed it. The job only took him about 30 minutes, but I hung around to shoot the breeze with these guys for several hours because they were an absolute delight. As a 66-year-old experienced motorcyclist, I know good guys, good people and “smarts” when I see it. These two guys are brilliant. I could’ve stayed all day but had a five hour ride ahead of me and at some point, I had to get moving. I give them 10 stars!

After a quick informative phone call I made the decision to take a chance on these guys and it could not have gone any better. They helped me get my cart to their easy in and out shop. Always helpful when it’s easy to get around pulling a trailer. The cart was repaired quickly and efficiently for a price I am sure was more than fair. The man running the show was Shelby and it was a family owned and operated business. I recently retired after 45 years in the automotive industry and still work as a consultant/expert witness in automotive litigation so I know how difficult it is to maintain the level of professional service that these people provided. Do not hesitate to use this facility for any repair you may need.
